Lake Superior

Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake by surface area in the world, located in North America, bordered by the United States and Canada. It is one of the five Great Lakes of North America and has a total surface area of approximately 31,700 square miles (82,100 square kilometers). The lake is known for its significant depth, reaching about 1,332 feet (406 meters) at its deepest point, and for its vast natural beauty, including numerous islands and rugged shorelines.
