Tesla is an American electric vehicle and clean energy company founded by Elon Musk, JB Straubel, Martin Eberhard, Marc Tarpenning, and Ian Wright in 2003. The company is best known for its electric cars, particularly the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y, which have gained significant popularity for their performance and range. Tesla also produces solar energy products and energy storage solutions, including the Powerwall and Powerpack. Tesla's mission is to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy through the production of electric vehicles and renewable energy solutions.
